For too long, farming has rarely been perceived as an empowering or aspirational vocation. At Agri Africa, we are determined to rewrite this narrative. We are doing this by discovering weaknesses within agricultural value chains and collaborating with innovative partners to solve these challenges.
Specifically, we have identified four major themes.
- Lack of quality and standards.
- Poor/wasteful production
- Poor organization of producers
- Lack of usable data
Through meaningful partnerships, reciprocal value exchange and innovative practice we aim to release the wealth locked in the African soil. This value will benefit producers and suppliers within the value chain, and ultimately, lead to a greater food security.
