The Tegla Loroupe Peace Foundation; Founded by the UN Sports for Peace Ambassador Tegla Loroupe, Kenyan marathon legend, Gender Inclusivity Champion and Foundation’s President in 2003 has been working towards fostering Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions by rebuilding social relations and developing trust to promote peace, social cohesion, and development in conflict-affected areas. The main thematic areas being Sports for Peace, Quality Education for all, Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Agricultural Practices for Food Security by partnering with Kenya Forest Services to adopt and regenerate 400 Acres of land in the North Rift Region , TLPF has also employed result-oriented strategic approaches in solving the challenges faced by the Communities by developing programs that will create high impact to promote Peace while building inclusive and equitable Communities.
