Stawi seeds Ltd is a tree seedling propagation business highly specialized in papaya value chain as its flagship division but also offers a broad range of other fruit tree seedlings including pixie tangerine, Grapes, Apple, Hass Avocado, Apple Mango, Cashew nuts and many more.

With over five years of experience, we are farmers’ first choice for quality papaya seeds and fruit tree seedlings. We pride ourselves in providing quality products and excellent services to all clients. This is an investment by a farmer for farmers.

Stawi seeds started in 2018 as Papaya Empire but was later rebranded and renamed Stawi Seeds Limited in September 2020. This saw us diversify from the Papaya Value Chain and expand our product portfolio to include other tree seedlings. Papaya seeds and seedlings however remains our flagship business. Our papaya seeds can be found in most agrovets across the country but we also sell directly to farmers.

Our main propagation nursery is located in Wote, Makueni. From here, we produce quality seedlings which are then supplied to our two distribution points at Machakos showground and City cabanas, Mombasa road in Nairobi. Each of our three branches is manned by qualified staff and observe Good Agricultural Practices. We take all measures to ensure that we deliver to farmers, seedlings that are healthy, strong and guarantee near 100% establishment with proper care.
