The 2022 Agri Africa exhibition will attract exhibitors, visitors, investors, officials from government entities, and delegates from various institutions and regions across the globe. Agri Africa has begun this initiative already by attending and exhibiting at an exhibition in the middle east prior to Agri Africa in June 2022, to build a database of potential visitors, get to know their interests, and entice them to visit the Agri Africa 2022 exhibition. This is among the factors that illustrate the determination to build the Agri Africa Exhibition not just by attracting locals but by going out to create awareness in the world about this event.
The visitors of the Agri Africa 2022 Exhibition will include but not be limited to farmers, government officials, suppliers and distributors of agricultural products, importers and exporters, financial institutions, government officials, importers and exporters of agricultural produce, media, consultants, students, and the public.
Visitors will be allowed entry into the exhibition at no fee but will be required to register online through the Agri Africa website and have a printed badge that will be shared with them via email. There will be an option to register at the entry of the venue where visitors will queue for registration through Agri Africa representatives and have their badges printed online.
Visitors will also be given a chance to review the exhibiting companies and rate them depending on what they have identified to be the most lucrative innovative technologies, ideas, products, and services.
The event is expected to have 10,000+ visitors.
The exhibition will host up to a maximum of 150 exhibitors. This is based on the exhibition capacity that the KICC courtyard grounds can accommodate. The exhibition shall include both physical and virtual in order to give chance to the international companies who may not be able to travel to Kenya on the dates of the exhibition. Arrangements have been made with the KICC to ensure that in the case there will be more exhibitors than the grounds can accommodate, the halls in the KICC buildings shall be used as exhibition halls.
The exhibitors shall be categorized as follows: -
The embassies of other nations shall be allocated up to a maximum of 10 booths. This is to allow for the Agricultural companies and other attendees to interact with the consular representatives of these states so they can understand the interests of other states when it comes to Agricultural products and services. It is also important for the people to understand the strengths of different countries when it comes to Agricultural innovation as well as the support and facilitation services provided by these partner states.
The embassies shall be allocated booths in strategic locations spread out in the exhibition area.
- International Companies
For the 2022 Agri Africa Exhibition, International companies shall refer to companies that are from outside Kenya. These companies can exhibit either physically or virtually. Nevertheless, every international exhibitor whether virtual or physical shall be allocated each one booth.
For the virtual exhibitors, a maximum of 2 competent locals shall be nominated by Agri Africa to provide support services; exhibit on behalf of the international company, and coordinate communications in real-time between the interested attendees and the company representatives who will be available virtually. These nominees shall also collect information on contacts who will have an interest in the company’s products and services.
The names for the support service nominees shall be submitted to the international companies at least two weeks prior to the event to allow for proper training to be conducted for them so they can understand the products which are to be exhibited.
The companies exhibiting virtually shall arrange to send their promotional materials to arrive at least a week prior to the event.
All equipment necessary to enable real-time virtual access to the booth and the site shall be provided for by Agri Africa and the organizing team.
International companies exhibiting physically shall also be provided with 1 competent nominee to provide support services. This shall be done at the request of the exhibitor.

The Y & I category refers to young entrepreneurs with incredibly creative ideas who may not entirely have the ability to pay the exhibition fees.
A maximum of 10 exhibition booths shall be reserved for the Y & I and selection shall be done through competition and/or from previous competitions by other organizations and entities. For instance, from the Agricultural Universities in Kenya.
The Y& I category shall not be required to pay an exhibition fee. Their slots shall be provided to them as an incentive by Agri Africa in support of the young and brilliant minds that deserve the exposure to communicate their ideas and get as much assistance as may be possible through the event.
Sponsors are the institutions and companies who will contribute to the realization of a successful, value-based exhibition where outreach is achieved and all the attendees will benefit in terms of valuable connections, closing deals, increasing memberships, learning new technologies, among other benefits.
